BOA: I loathe you!!

I don't have the most money in the world, I'll admit. And since my move, things are kind of tight financially. That said, I paid my rent and some necessary bills from my last pay check, which drained just about all my funds.

No worries, I had a paycheck to deposit.

Friday night I dropped it in the ATM.

Saturday, I made a few purchases because my parents were in town and I wanted to treat a couple times, which was nice I think. Anyway, I tried to pull money out of an ATM on Saturday and it denied me because of insufficient funds. Weird.

So I checked my account online. My transaction and all subsequent transactions were pending. Pending I thought meant that they'd all post to the account on tuesday and it'd all even out again.

no so you f*cking bank of america pieholes. Today I checked the account. BOA posted all the withdrawls on Tuesday. Charged me THREE $35 overdraft fees in addition to a $20 overdraft charge, and a $10 overdraft protection charge. WTH? protection from what?

My deposit - that i made friday night - posted on Wednesday.

No big deal. I'll just call them. Their customer service people are generally pretty customer centric. But no, this Dorian (the highest level of supervisor I could get to within the company - or so says Mr. Dorian himself, which i completely don't believe because he's no where near that good) says that since all the charges are valid, and I knowingly made them, that the overdraft fees are valid too.
me: Are you kidding?
Dorian: no.
me: What then would you do Dorian?
Dorian: I might consider opening up an additional line of credit to protect me from such fees in the future. Or, moving forward, i wouldn't make charges that I didn't have the money in my account to cover.

oh you little best customer service representative in the business. i bow down to your commitment to your customers and thank you for your advice. Since i already said additional line of credit, which you did not pull from, what now? would you just lay down and let BOA take you for what little money you have?

i hate you bank of america.
and you will lose my business because of this.
and while it may not be much, i do not deserve to be treated this way.
give some credit to your customers man, we choose you. we want you on our side.
you screwed up when you said that the vendors that we buy from are more important to you than we are.
you need to get your priorities in order.
because that shit don't fly.
