barrel curls

when i curl my hair, i feel pretty.

and girly.
and fashionable.
and young at heart, even though i'm only 26.

and it kind of trumps my otherwise tired, overworked, dreary days of late and jolts me into some sort of fun, fabulous, freespirited mindset, which makes me sit up straighter and talk smarter, thus generally improving my overall contributions to society.

i should curl my hair more often, i think.

Tim Russert of NBC News has died at the age of 58, the network says.

this is very sad. he was one of, if not my favorite campaign 08 commentator. the 2008 election will not be the same. God speed, Mr. Russert.
