hugh's cartoons sometimes hit a nerve. this one struck a chord because there are people with whom i'd like to talk. not conversations that i'm particularly interested in actualy having, but i'd like to talk to them. give my side of the story. one way communication. that's what i need. let's make it happen :)

and yes, i'm talking about you.

that IT guy

I have a presentation at work today where I'm profiling "that IT guy" as it relates to "that other STB team" (my team). We're four small businesses, and in conjunction with an overview of our businesses, wanted to add a little real world example to further explain how "that other STB team" really can enhance you PR.

Meet Ted.
He works in corporate America for a big time communications provider.

He is by far the coolest guy on the IT team.

He knows how to rock the multi-computer set up, and often takes apart and rebuilds computers just for fun.

He lives in his Mom’s basement (because all the coolest guys do).

He wears Hawaiian shirts - every day, for EVERY occasion.

He drinks Mountain Dew by the big gulp.

His closest friends know him as "HaloTed415" because that - is - his (Xbox Live) name.

Many thanks to my dear Neighbor who,
whenever I start to ask,
obliges before he even knows what I need.

It's not often people have friends like that.
I'm lucky to have found one.

Here's a shout out to you Neighbor.

You rock my world.
