is it though?

The closer I look, the more disorganized it seems. And because I'm an organizational maniac - everywhere except my bedroom, which is always in disarray - I see places to step in an undishevel the disheveled.

A servant at heart and a control freak in nature, I sometimes overstep my bounds. And when my ultimate goal is to serve and support, I oft forget that not everyone supports my vision and enjoys my organizational control. But it does most certainly lead me to small offices where everything needs someone to be accountable.

That's how it is around here. Small office. Generally, a staff of four; now a staff of three. Every moment brings a new task and requires weeks of intense work. From web sites to Korean visitors, thank you letters to database creation, marketing materials to plugged up toilets, I'm there to make sure that it gets done and gets done right.

And, for the record, I'd rather sit at my office all night, but still walk into the meeting prepared, than go out drinking the night before, shower, makeup and body spray my way to an illprepared adventure. It's just not who I am.

I am not like all, and I am not better than you, but we are different. And when it comes down to whether or not I'll wear my contacts to work, it really is a day by day, moment by moment decision. Today...the answer is no.
